Closing a Chapter

This post is more difficult to write than I had anticipated. After six wonderful years running Nested Sanctuary, I have made the bittersweet decision to close the shop. This is not a decision I made lightly, but one that developed over the last several months as my family priorities have changed. I find myself at a moment in my life where precious time with my growing boys is fleeting. They both want and need me to guide them as they transition into young adulthood. I can count my remaining summers with the eldest boys on one hand, and any parent will tell you, time is a thief. We are wanting more time together with fewer distractions, less noise, and less "stuff." This pull on my heart to pour more focus into them has led me to this choice. 

I have loved running this shop. I enjoy the thrill of finding new products and creatively pulling them together to create a cohesive look. I adore sharing my holiday decor ideas with all of you on social media. I love the community that has been built around a brand I created. Closing the shop doesn't have to change any of that. The only difference now is that I no longer need to store, package, and ship the fun items I find.

The final day to shop is Monday, December 27. It is my hope to have everything shipped out by the end of the year, in order to start 2022 with a fresh slate. And while the physical shop will disappear from the site, NestedSanctuary.com will remain, with a few fun new additions down the road, and (hopefully) more action on the blog and social media.

Thank you to all of you who have been here for this incredible journey. I do not view this choice as an end to my story, but merely the beginning of a new chapter. You have blessed us immensely with your support. I truly appreciate your business.
